Chances are that you are mistaking this blog for my more professional writing hub, ZachsThoughts. You can access that at ZachsThoughts.com
This site is a genuinely personal blog, which is quite literally a place for me to talk about whatever in a much more casual environment. There is no schedule, and it’s more of a public archive of my random musings rather than a place where I almost dress up in a suit and present something that can make me look way more sophisticated than I really am.
You can also notice that this blog is different because it is not built with my usual design tools (Divi, a hundred plugins, etc.), but rather using a simple framework (Beaumont) and a few add-ons and modifications to ensure the site looks clean for its purpose. Plus, this is supposed to be the self-sufficient blog, not the one that needs constant CPR.
Finally, it is essential to emphasize that this blog will not be promoted in the same manner as ZachsThoughts, as the site’s objective is to serve as a hidden yet accessible salon for my thoughts, rather than an agora like the former.
We march onwards.

Who Am I?
I am an undergraduate student at American University majoring in Public Relations & Strategic Communication and minoring in Business Analytics & Artificial Intelligence.
Outside of classwork, I am the Firm Director for Eagle Communications, AU’s student-run public relations firm. I previously was the inaugural Web Specialist and an Assistant Director, where I launched the Web and Editorial Teams for the Internal Account.
Back home in Massachusetts, I have worked at Gordon Multimedia and JVF Solutions in the web design space, and am actively involved in a startup e-commerce brand.

On writing: I have been publishing ZachsThoughts since 2020, and have had my work featured on TheWilderNet, as well as submitting independent pieces to American Literary Magazine and Wirrowac’s Window.
When I am not doing any of the above, I am either reading non-fiction, hiking in the White Mountains, exploring the museums of Washington, or spending time with family or friends in Maryland and Massachusetts.
I can be reached at blog@zacharyaustrager.com.
