Despite my insane schedule this week, I have still found time to work on my new WordPress theme (Codename: Curious Big Valley)
At this point, the general templates needed have been designed and added to the theme files in some capacity. There is quite a bit of similarity between Curious Big Valley and Anders Noren’s “Beaumont”, but that was almost intentional-by-design. Having an outline of the theme is much easier compared to just going at it and hoping for the best.
Now, all I need to do is continue refining the templates and making sure the theme can be used by anyone who wants it. I may also add other templates, parts, etc., but the goal is for it to be shippable and usable for anyone who wishes to download it.
We have made it to Version 0.3.X, the alpha. So here’s to progress!
The GitHub repository will be available hopefully by the end of the month.
